What a journey singleness is!

There are countless stigmas attached to being single.

Judgements from others and from ourselves:

"You're less than because you are single."

"No one will ever want me."

"There is something wrong with you."

"There is a time frame for this sort of thing."

"Everyone will think badly of me because i'm single."

As a person who is single and on the doorstep of 30... I have felt and believed each and every one of these things.

But I am here to say - THESE ARE LIES!

It's particularly difficult when people who love you and want the best for you unknowingly apply pressure on you to find the one person who fits you like a puzzle piece.

But having travelled this road for a length of time, i can say with self love, peace in my heart and still carrying the dream of finding 'The One' one day... that whatever your story, however you feel - It's ok!

In saying this, it doesn't mean i don't have the occasional struggles.

But I believe our stories are designed, developed and written by The Creator of the universe. A fiercely loving Father who has the best for each and every one of us. And just because your story is different from your neighbour's, doesn't mean it's wrong.

So whether you are single, married or in a relationship - You do you Boo!
